18 February 2008 - Entertainment lineup for 2008 has been set.

17 February 2008 - This year we are having a HOPE sign colouring competition which will be judged at the event. We are sending copies of the sign to colour in with the newsletter and they will be available at the event. You can also download one from here to colour in before hand if you like. Have fun!

13 February 2008 - The tent site selection system is now available. Laura (our team liason and recruitment co-ordinator) will be in contact with all teams regarding information that you require to select a site.

6 February 2008 - Next and last Team Captains meeting will be on Wednesday, 20th of February at Beckley Park. This will be in the dining room (upstairs) in the Geelong Harness Racing Club stand. For those teams that are new this year, this meeting will give you an opportunity to see the track area first hand and an opportunity for all to find out any last minute details.

17 January 2008 - Just a reminder about the opportunity to utilise the Beelgara wine order form to raise funds for your team. Don't forget to include your team name on the order so that money raised can be attributed to your team.

13 August 2007 - At the recent Relay for Life Summit, the Geelong Relay event received a few awards, namely: reaching $2m milestone, community connection, outstanding achievement, a committee service award for Jill Miller and Sarah Birch, and a retiring chairman award for Andrew Purdy. You can see these trophies by clicking the thumbnail image below.

18 July 2007 - the 2008 dates are set. The Geelong Relay For Life event for 2008 will be on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of February 2008.

18 April 2007 - Congratulations to all teams - the Geelong Relay For Life event for the past seven years has now raised a total of at least $2,041,380. The first Australian Relay For Life event to do so.

11 November 2005 - Geelong Relay for Life will be participating in the Gala Day Parade and the Gala Day activities at the Geelong Waterfront, anyone wishing to participate can contact Glenda. Further details will be discussed at the team captain's meeting - 23 November 2005, 7:30pm at the KD Stewart Centre, Deakin University, Waurn Ponds (Building 5 on the campus map)

10 November 2005 - Relay For Life wristbands are now a possibility, make sure you check out the team fundraising section
